Trevor period 6

I drop back in the pocket and raise my head as fast as lightning
I read the defense like a book,
I want to run, but I continue scanning
And now I think I'm hooked

My heart says throw it but the ball says no
So then I roll out right,
I'm thinking "Oh no", but then I see Mo
Now I know that ball was right

I pull the ball back, and let it fly high
And then crack!
I'm looking at the sky
While I'm layin on my back

I raise my head slow like a snail to get a site
And to my great suprise,
I see my friend jumping high as a kite
Wow, was that ball wise

  3. i like the the word ncrackbecuase i hear it to much on the feild, and i like that when i read it i get the feeling of being on the field.

i think that you could fix up but putting a litteration in it like the homework said, and you could also fix some of the puntuations to get the right way to read the poem
    1)A B A B
2)the tone was happy and cheerfull towards the end but in the begining he was distrssed.
3)three words of good diction id lightning, Crack!, wise
    4)an example of imagery in the poem is { i pull he ball high and let it fly}
5)in stanza 3 line 1 and 2 ther is an example of alliteration.
6)there is reall no in ternal ryhme.
7)in stanza 2 it says that the ball says no
8)in stanza 3 there is an onomatoeiea when you say crack!!

  4. Hey Trevor, I really enjoyed your poem about football. I like how you said crack when you fell and i also liked how you compared reading the defense like a book. In the first stanza lightning and scanning don't really rhyme, so that would be something to improve.

    1. The rhyne scheme was ABAB
    2. Some words to describe the your tone are Determined and in a hurry
    3. Three interesting use of diction were wise, site, and scanning.
    4. One example of imagery was 'I raise my head slow like a snail to get a site'
    5. One example of alliteration is 'I pull the ball back' Line 9.
    6. One example of internal rhyme is 'I'm thinking "oh no", but then i see Mo' Line 7.
    7. One example of personification is 'The ball was wise' Line 16
    8. One example of an onomatopoeia is 'Crack' Line 10.
