Adam 4th period

The feeling of love is like a spring breeze flowing by
Squish, squash, and swoosh is what I hear in my heart
For as like the trees going through the breeze she walks
The emotion screams at me to tell her hi

A fresh freeze from the air chills me
She brings that feeling that I have missed for a long time
When it comes to her, she is no mime
I like her as much as my Wii

I see her once a day, if not twice
She loves to see me, unlike most
It puts her in a good mood, such as those on the east coast
She blinds me with words such as the 3 blind mice

The feeling of love is a mystery to me
The girl I like will also be so questioning
She is worth more than mentioning
Though I need forever to let it be

  1. I really liked the way you expressed how you feel about this person, through words, and how you described your love and the feeling it gives you.

I though the poem needed more rhyme at times and that personification could've been seen more clearly.

    1)most, coast
    2)peaceful, nervous, happy
    3)questioning, mentioning, flowing
4)The feeling of love is a mystery
    5)I didn't see any alliteration
6)I didn't see any internal rhyme
7)Yes, "For as like trees going through the breeze"
    8)Squish, squash, swoosh

  2. 1) The poem is about love
    2) I have some questions about the wording- "For as like the trees going through the breeze she walks"-what is that suposed to mean?
    3) The last stanza is confusing...it jumps on and off subjects. I would consider revising it
    4) About the whole poem I dont realy have a question but I would work on working and order

  4. It is really ovbious that you have true emotions for this person and you conveyed them very well through this poem.
    1) This poem is about the writer's feelings toward a certain person.
    2) Why did you say "It puts her in a good mood, such as those on the east coast" when refering to the girl seeing you? What was the connection for the two?
    3) The second stanza is a little confusing when you say the girl is no mime. The comparison is not very clear.
    4) What is the overall feeling of the poem? Are you saying you cannot confess your feelings for the girl you wrote about?
    Similies or meatphors

On symbolic part of the poem was the word tree in the first stanza. Tree-growth, life, summertime.

  5. Okay--and now to actually finish the questions...

    1) The feeling of love is like a spring breeze flowing by/For as like the trees going through the breeze she walks/It puts her in a good mood, such as those on the east coast/I like her as much as my Wii
    2) The trees made me think of a summer afternoon/morning. The three blind mice made me think a sense of helplessness or confusion. The east coast made me think about the ocean and beach.
