Spring is such a beautiful thing
Listen to the birds sing
A nice breeze passing by
oh what a nice sky
Spring is the smell of freshness
Lovely lilies blooming all over the green grass
Trees stand as they stare
Butterflies float without a care
Kids playing in the spring air
People walking their dog with smiles like sunshines
Kites flying like birds
Spring is such a beautiful word
Colorful flowers swaying in the wind
Trees leaves blowing all around
Birds zipping by singing
Spring is such a beautiful thing

I really enjoyed the peaceful mental image the poem conveyed and the the happy, carefree nature of it. However a few suggestions for improvement are 1) using more expression (ex. Oh! what a nice sky) and 2) be sure to include an onomatopeia.
ReplyDelete1) The rhyme scheme of this poem is that the last word of every line rhymes with the next line, excepting lines nine and ten.
2) The poet's tone is happy and bright.
3) Three uses of dictation were freshness, lilies, and green grass. They give you a very good mental picture.
4) One example of imagery was "Spring is the smell of freshness".
5) An example is "green grass" in line six.
6) Internal rhyme was used in the first line because spring rhymes with thing.
7) Personification is used in the seventh line, because obviously trees can't stare at you.
8) I did not find an onomatopeia in this poem.

I really liked the way your poem sounded. It just floated along very well in my head. Your poem could use a bit more punctuation. Other than that I think your poem was very good.

3) Some dictions are nice, lillies and freshness.
4)One form of imagery in this poem is "Spring is the smell of freshness
Lovely lilies blooming all over the green grass."
5)One of the alliterations is "lovely lillies" on line 6.
6)The internal rhyme was "spring" and "thing" on line 16.
7)The personification was "kites flying like birds" on line 11.
8)I couldnt find an onomatopeia.
