I see the autumn leaves swoosh swiftly along,
Like they are moving to a long song,
They are beautiful in the autumn air,
Moving along without a care

The wind blows as the leaves fall,
As if the ground is giving them a call,
The leaves and the ground reunited,
Making playful children delighted

I see the children running around,
Their laughter is a joyful sound,
Although autumn brought chilly air,
The children run around without a care

Leaves are a song that moves along without care,
Leaves are like fire in the chilly air,
Leaves are the fire that breaks through cold ice,
Leaves are like our homes that feel warm and nice

  1. I really enjoyed the first stanza and the last one.
Some suggestions for making this poem better are maybe changing "leaves" to they or some other word because it is used alot. You could also add some more commas.
    1)rhyme scheme: A A B B
2)I think the author really likes the leaves and autumn
3)the author choose words that flow with the feeling of the peom and I think that she did a good job.
4)"Leaves are a song that moves along without care" appeals to me, it sounds joyful.
5)Autumn leaves swoosh along. the first line
    6)it was forgotten
    7)she personifies the leaves
    8) "swoosh" first line

  3. 1) I think the poem is about how autumn leaves brighten up an otherwise cold and dreary season.
2)What did you mean when you said, "Like they are moving to a long song"?
3)Are you trying to make a statement about children in stanza 3?
4)Do you like autumn or not?

    Simile and/or metephor:
1)Leaves are a song that moves along without care,
2)Leaves are like fire in the chilly air,
3)Leaves are the fire that breaks through cold ice,
4)Leaves are like our homes that feel warm and nice.

"Leaves are like our homes that feel warm and nice" When I hear this, I think of: my warm bed, sitting by a roaring fire, thanksgiving dinner, steaming pies, spicy pumpkin soup that my mom makes, and hot apple cider
