Blonde
I love myself some shopping
My lip gloss is quite popping
I'm the bomb like tick tick
Please make me a brunette like cassidy, QUICK!
My mom says I am as ditzy as a blonde
But everybody knows I go above and beyond
My bubbly bestfriends boasts my beauty
The boys all laugh and call me "cutie"
The fabulous fashion,
My parties are smashin',
I might come off as a little bit whiny!
But I can guarantee my jewelry is always bright and shiny!
Cassidy helped me make this up,
She's my girl she knows 'whassup'
My eyes dance like diamonds, when you look in them time ends
But my brain is gone, wow,why am I'm such a blonde!?
girllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll this poem is the bomb!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletei enjoyed the blondeness behind your poem.
ReplyDeletei think you should use different rhyme words at the end. i liked your use of whassup but it is not proper.
AABB
the poets tone is humorous and joyful
my favorite diction use is whassup, i love that word. :)
my favorite use of imagery in the poem is " Im the bomb like tick tock"
my favorite use of alliteration is "My bubbly bestfriends boasts my beauty"
the internal rhyme is where it ends in diamonds
the personification is when she says her eyes are like diamonds
the onomatopoeia is tick tock

--Cassidy Harris
In this poem I enjoyed when Katie related herself to having no brain and being blonde. In a poem do not include that you need help writting it. The rhyme scheme was AABB. The poet's tone was sarcastic. Three interesting uses of diction are bomb, cutie, and blone; these words show how she thinks of herself. An example of imagry would be the line " My eyes are diamonds, when you look in them time ends." Alliteration was used to describe herself in the line " My bubbly bestfriends boasts my beauty." A line that represents internal rhyme is the last line in the 3rd stanza, which states " But my brain is gone, I'm such a blonde!" Personification was used in the line, "My lip gloss is quite popping." Onomatopeia was used in the line, " I'm the bomb like tick tick." Kyle
