STEP 2

STEP 2
Computer Lab Day…
Now that you have written your poems, you will be posting them to the blog for peer review and editing.
You will have 15 minutes to type your poem.  Click on new blog post and begin by typing your first name and period in the title.  Next, begin typing your poem in the text box exactly as you have written it.  Once you are finished click submit.
In your group, read and offer suggestions to the other members of your group.  Select the name of your group member and under their post, click post a comment.  Your blog comment should include:

- two aspect of the poem you really enjoyed.
- two suggestions for improvement.
- Type your first name at the bottom.
In addition, answer the poetry checklist questions in each blog post.
When you are finished reading and reviewing each poem, return to the blog to read the comments left for your particular poem.  Take notes on the comments and keep them with the poetry checklists returned to you.  You will use these to revise your poem.
When you are finished reading the comments left for you, begin to revise your poem in a separate document or on your original sheet of paper.  YOU WILL ADD ONE EXTRA STANZA TO ANY PART OF YOUR POEM for a total of 16 lines. You will need this revised poem for next class.
